WHY WE EXIST

The 2012 earthquake showed what uncertainty really costs

The 2012 Emilia earthquake deeply affected the region's industrial fabric, highlighting the vulnerability of industrial buildings and the uncertainty regarding their post-event safety. MOSI was founded in 2014 to address this specific need: transforming structural knowledge from subjective assessments to objective measurements.

In the hours and days following a seismic event, quick decisions are required to ensure the safety of people and the continuity of economic activities. Without reliable data on the building's response, every choice involves unnecessary risks or delays.

We designed BBOX 2.0 to meet this need: providing reliable tools that allow owners, managers, and professionals to know exactly what happened to their building, to restart safely or intervene where truly necessary.
