Cookie policy
The data controller, the recipients of the data and the rights of the data subject are described in the Privacy notice, to which this page refers. In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the visitor's browser to recognise them, remember their choices or collect information about their browsing. This page also covers similar technologies, such as scripts and pixels, that read or send information from the user's device.
By purpose, we distinguish:
- technical cookies, needed for the operation and security of the site or to remember the user's choices: they do not require consent;
- statistical analysis tools that produce only aggregate data and do not allow the visitor to be identified: they are treated as technical cookies and do not require consent;
- marketing cookies, used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns: they are set only with the user's consent.
2. Technical cookies
The site uses technical cookies to protect the service against malicious traffic, serve a consistent version of the pages and remember the choices made about cookies. They are set automatically because without them the site could not work properly. Users can block them in their browser settings, which may affect some functions of the site.
3. Usage statistics without cookies
To know, in aggregate form, the most visited pages, where visits come from and which devices are used, the site uses Plausible Analytics, a service with servers in the European Union that sets no cookies, does not store the IP address and creates no persistent visitor identifiers. Visits are counted through a temporary code renewed every 24 hours, which does not allow the same visitor to be recognised over time or across different sites. Because of these features, the tool is treated as a technical cookie and does not require consent.
4. Google Ads marketing cookies
With the user's consent, the site uses the Google Ads tag to know whether a visit coming from an ad ends with a contact or datasheet request. This is how MOSI assesses the performance of its campaigns. The site does not use these data to show personalised ads to visitors through remarketing.
The Google tag is loaded only after consent: before a choice is made, or if consent is refused, no marketing cookie is set and no data is sent to Google. For these activities Google Ireland Limited acts as an independent controller, according to its privacy policy and its information on how Google uses cookies. Data may be transferred to the United States with the safeguards described in the Privacy notice.

6. Managing your choices
On the first visit the site shows a banner that lets you:
- accept all cookies;
- reject non-technical cookies, with a button of equal prominence;
- customise your choice by category;
- close the banner with the X, which is equivalent to rejecting and keeps only technical cookies active.
Scrolling the page or continuing to browse does not count as consent. The banner is not shown again for 6 months after your choice, unless the processing conditions or the providers involved change, or you clear your browser cookies.
You can change your choices or withdraw consent at any time through the link at the bottom of every page. Each choice is recorded, without the IP address, so that consent can be demonstrated, as described in the Privacy notice.
Browser settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
7. Updates
This cookie policy may be updated if the tools used by the site change. The version in force is always published on this page.
